CURRENT STATUS: 6/15/2024Happy Pride Month! This will (probably) be the ACTUAL final update here, especially since Wilds is coming out next year. But this is as close to my original, complete idea as I think I'm going to get. So this is version 1.0!

I have, in some form or fashion, included options for almost every armor set in the game, even the ones that don't need them. I have left out the layered sets that are just a specific character skin (Arlow, Arthur, etc.). I'm pretty sure I covered everything else, although I don't have all of the DLCs and stuff so I may have missed something.

Technically this isn't that much different from the last update, but it should hopefully be significantly more user friendly!

If you have any issues not covered in this description you can leave a post and I (or another user) may help, but I am not guaranteeing any support.

Regarding Screenshots: I have included screenshots in the "Recommended" packs. See below for details. I may or may not upload them here, in addition to the existing ones, which are still relevant. The new ones are not super dynamic or fancy, but it took me multiple weeks(?) to get them in my spare time so that's what I'm including.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who has left comments and endorsements, even if I'm not around I'm glad that I've made something at least a few people like!

Installation Instructions:

If you have Fluffy, which I would HIGHLY recommend, just drop the .rar file into your fluffy mods folder.

One note: I figured out how to make sub-menus work in fluffy! I did this by including a bunch of empty mods. You can ignore the empty mods, but fluffy WILL give you a popup everytime you try to activate a "sub-mod" if you don't activate the relevant empty "parent" mods. Additionally, all packs SHOULD appear under the "Alternative Female Armors" top-level mod, within which you should have options for each pack. It's not 100% perfect but it works well enough.

I would also recommend using RE Framework and First Natives through Fluffy, which you can find in the downloads section of the manager. This allows a little more control over your modded environment and leads to less direct modification of vanilla game files.

If you really want to do it manually, here is how:

1. Ensure REFramework and FirstNatives are installed.
2. Download the pack with the parts you want to alter.
3. Open the .rar file. Find the folder called <name> <part> where <name> is the set you want to alter, and <part> is the part you want to alter. Open that folder.
4. Copy the "natives" folder from the current folder to your game directory.
5. That's it!

Known Bugs and Issues:

- The Somnacanth, Almudron, and Crimson Valstrax sets don't work. I do not know why.
- Some parts clip when swapped out on their own. The Fluffy packs include notes on which pieces do and don't do this.

This mod should be compatible with most other mods, unless it alters the women's armor sets. For those, the most recently installed mod will work, because that mod will have overwritten the previous mods files. This is for firstnatives setups, I'm unsure how it works without firstnatives.

Other Mods to Check Out:

Kacamac has some mods that add much more form-fitting pants/leggings and shorts to some of the women's leg armors. Keep in mind that you should install their mod/s after mine so that their files actually take effect, as we cover many of the same armor sets.

For ease of organization, I've decided to split the armor sets into several packs, although if you want there is an All-in-One option. In brief, the packs are as follows:

Low/High/Master/Layered - Extended: This pack is all armor sets in the relevant category that have been tested, and are not identical. Each set is fully modular, so you can swap out each "piece" individually as you desire. These will be under the "Optional" category.

Low/High/Master/Layered - Recommended: This pack is a smaller selection of sets in the relevant category, and includes only the pieces that I would actually recommend swapping. The included parts are listed after. "part+part" indicates that those two parts are swapped together, as one "toggle". Additionally, some sets are "full swap", which means you swap all pieces or none. These packs also include Screenshots! There is one image per set, with the original set on the left, and the set with all of the included options toggled "on" on the right.

Partial: This pack includes a few armor sets that are less than the full 5 pieces (ex. Droth), have been tested, and are not identical. Like the "Extended" packs, each set is fully modular.

Identical: This pack includes sets that, after testing (or looking at pictures on the internet), I determined have no meaningful changes between the original and the alternate. I was originally not going to include them for that reason, but I decided to make this pack just for completeness.

UNTESTED: This pack includes sets that I could not test, either because I don't own the relevant DLC or missed the Event, etc.

BROKEN: This pack includes the sets that I have tested and determined do NOT work. This means that if you activate any piece from these sets, and even just hover over it for a preview, your game WILL crash to desktop. I do not know why, and I cannot put in the time to figure out why. This is mostly here if someone else wants to try and solve that puzzle.
